The account of the Messiah’s Star (Star of Bethlehem) in Matthew’s Gospel is much simpler and more complex than most people imagine. The star was never a guide (See our site, See YouTube channel). It did not lead anyone anywhere at any moment. Instead, it announced the coming of the Jewish Messiah, Jesus. Royal symbols connected to Babylonian astronomy and Jewish messianic concepts gave the Magi insights into the coming of the Greatest of Kings. The “White Star” (MUL.BABBAR) was involved in a fantastic series of celestial events that pointed to the coming of the Righteous One, the Messiah.
